It's possible that someone other than Zach and I noticed that MacOpz was down for a couple of days... It came time to pay the hosting bill, and I wavered. The site has been mostly inactive for a decade or so, and during that time I have funded it mostly for posterity's sake. Every year when the hosting bill comes around, I pay it and say to myself "This is the year we are going to bring MacOpz back!". This year I have very little money. I recently graduated from college, and have been insistent (and so far unsuccessful) on finding a job that is relevant to my degree. As such, I was feeling as though hanging on to posterity was a luxury I could no longer afford. Zach contacted me when the site went down, and with far less explanation than I have provided here, volunteered to pay the hosting bill.
So I just wanted to make this post to thank Zach for keepin' the old site around for another year. I'm not sure if we'll ever get around to doing much with the site again, but it feels like we own a tiny bit of history in the Mac community, and so it feels like it is worth keeping the site alive for posterity.
So thank you Zach, for keeping the site online for another year!
