Temporarily in love with my phone again

I've been bitching (not here) about my year old T-Mobile myTouch b/c it tends to not work when i need it to. For example the GPS will invariably go on the fritz if I need to use it for driving directions. Oh and it's still on Android 1.6.

So I'm in a hotel in Vegas and they want to charge me $14/day for internet. I decided to search the Android market for tethering apps. Found a free one that also downloaded an OS X client to the SD card so I could get that onto my MacBook without internet access. Works like a charm! And it is not nearly as slow as I thought it would be. Pretty fast actually.

Once the weekend is over and I don't need tethering anymore, I'm sure I'll hate my phone again.

Just needed to share that in a place where people might actually understand what I'm talking about and be able to relate.
