So, my old CRT is kind of acting up. If I turn it off for an extended period, it blinks (a LOT) for anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour afterward. It's intermittent, coming in bursts. These "blinks" are accompanied by some quiet popping noises. Is my monitor about to blow up? I've been thinking the time has come to get a flat-panel but haven't been able to force myself to marshal up the dough...
