: Shit, there's a video store down the road that is $2 for new releases and $1
: for older flicks. I don't see the "convenience" of downloading
: it instead of driving (or walking) a block that makes it worth $2 more.

This coming from the guy who would rather stay at home to watch a movie than walk a block and pay $3 to see it on the big-screen? lol Sorry, I'm just giving you a hard time. I understand your objections, however, when they get everything put together right and they can rent HD out at a moment's notice I will test it on mine since I have an Apple TV already and a buttload of iTunes store credits. I'm curious how the HD will look and sound on my 5.1... The ONLY benefit in that is in case my neighborhood Blockbuster doesn't have a new movie I want to see in on Blu-Ray then I can download it from iTunes possibly. That is a very nice proposition IMO... Sometimes I just want to see a certain film right away no matter what and if that costs me $4 to do over my network, I'm cool with that as long as the video and sound quality is there to make it worth-while...

: Just doesn't seem like enough to support a keynote. And it was one of the
: shortest keynotes I can recall as well. If I were Steve I would have at
: least held on to the new Mac Pro's and Xserves for a few days just to fill
: out the announcements.

Agreed... I wonder if they announce the new Power Macs & XServes early by accident and then couldn't retract the pages? I dunno... Definitely not typical Apple fashion. Not one of Steve's better 'notes, for sure!
