In Response To: Pogue did a funny video on MS not copying Apple (Zach)

...it irritated one of my peeves: stupid yankees mispronouncing foreign words...particularly Latin words. Puerto is pronounced "pwair-toe," not "pore-toe;" Amarillo is pronounced "ah-mah-ree-yo," not "a-ma-rih-low;" and dammit everyone, vista is pronounced "vees-tah," not "vih-stuh."
