: We got shafted by Cingular. We had AT&T which got bought by Cingular and it
: was OK for a while but then suddenly our reception went to shit.
: Cingular's solution was for us to sign a 2 year contract with them to
: become Cingular customers. Needless to say, I gave them a big fuck you and
: switched to T-Mobile. Been pretty happy with it too. Verizon wasn't even
: an option for me since they still don't use SIM cards and they hobble the
: features on their phones so you have to pay for things like address book
: transfers, etc. Assholes.
What area of the country are you living in? When Cingular bought AT&T they also took over all of their old-ass TDMA and CDMA based networks and in many areas (Like Alaska) they do not have GSM/GPRS towers up which is the proverbial Bread & Butter of Cingular's connection strength. I prefer T-Mobile as well over Cingular but unfortunately on the east coast, they just don't have nearly as good reception even on their world-phones. I've kind of homogenized my communicatiosn so that while my signal isn't as superior, I have better coverage for places I visit w/ Cingular than the big T. Either way, both companies are located here in the Pac-NW so we get great coverage regardless. ;)
: My wife and I watched that whole thing going "this better start getting
: funny". Well worth the wait for the pay-off. That's some pretty funny
Yeah, it is a bit slow at first but the ending just makes the entire film. ;)
C'mon now, would I embed something that had NO entertainment value when making fun of a company?
