: I disagree with both you a J on a number of points in this thread, but I'm
: going to stay out of it for the most part.
No worries, it's not like there's an argument or anything, just a pleasant discussion. :) C'mon now, this aint's "MoviePoopShoot.com"! (Another great new filmmaker overall - Kevin Smith)
I have just one thing to add
: about this comment: No. You Shouldn't. 6th Sense and Unbreakable are
: great. SIgns is OK at best and really disappointing and stupid when you're
: done watching it. The Village was not as awful as I expected, but still
: not very good. Plus I caught it for free on the Mystery channel or
: something. I can't bring myself to watch Lady in the Water. Man, what
: happened to that guy?
Yeah, the Village blew, Signs was "OK" but I didn't like the overbearing religious symbolism throughout the entire thing however Lady in the Water was actually REALLY good! At least in comparison to the last two films. It was a fairy tale and I think that he did it in a really enjoyable way. No big "twist" ending or anything, just an interesting tale that while at times predictable and some times just wierd, was still a good piece of cinema that I'm looking forward to purchasing. :)
Another really good-looking one that's coming up in the style of Labrynth & MirrorMask but darker is Pan's Labyrinth. Looks REALLY good!
